Who is Romaine Wright?
Hi there, welcome to my website! I'm guessing you're here to learn more about me, what I do and how I can help you, your business or your team. If so, you're in luck. Here's a little about me.
Hailing from the vibrant streets of Philadelphia, and nurtured by the serene calmness of the southeast, I personify an intriguing mix of city elegance and rural grace. A city girl at my core, I find a unique beauty in the intricate designs of wooden doors adorning historic buildings. Yet, as the day winds down, the tranquil sway of trees in the breeze and the melodic songs of morning birds offer me solace. As a cherished daughter, a dear cousin, and a guiding figure, my relationships define me both personally and professionally.
Feeding my passion for culture and amusement, I often find myself immersed in the treasure troves of museums and landmarks, appreciating art and history. As someone who believes that the past is the bedrock of the present, I draw wisdom from historical insights to make enlightened decisions for a promising future. My conversations are often punctuated with favorite quotes from TV shows and movies, with shared laughter following the moments of recognition.
While my career is a significant part of me, it doesn't solely define me. That said, I take immense pride in being an accomplished professional with a knack for effective communication. Specializing in talent management, my workdays are filled with facilitating workshops, coaching, consulting, and crafting solutions addressing the unique needs of my clients. With a B.A. from Temple University and an M.S. from Walden University, both in Psychology, I consider my educational background the cornerstone of my profession.
Though I started with a vision to practice clinically, I realized that my forte lies in employing psychological principles in the corporate world through Industrial-Organizational Psychology. This specialized knowledge, combined with my varied industry experience, affords me a unique perspective on critical matters such as employee engagement, leadership development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Guided by Maya Angelou's insightful words, "people will forget what you said or did, but they will remember how you made them feel", my goal is to enhance the quality of employee experience and organizational culture.
As the Owner and Principal Consultant of Just Wright Consulting LLC, I offer a variety of tailored consulting and training services to meet client needs. Services range from interactive training workshops (virtual or in-person) and keynote speaking to leadership development and coaching. Don't hesitate to reach out for a complimentary discovery call.
